Basically, I'll listen to anything as long as it doesn't involve a bunch of fat men waving their arms around while wearing sweat suits and huge-ass silver medallions from their necks as 10 girls in thongs dance in the background.

About
Me and my boyfriend Jon on his 26th birthday. Notice how we’re pretty much the same shade of damn-you’re-pale white, I’m just slightly pinker.
About Sarah
Hi there! I’m a 22-year-old computer science Master’s student at the University of Kentucky. I enjoy programming, web design, graphics design, photography, and reading. When I’m not tinkering with this web site (and boy howdy, am I a tinkerer), I’m often playing Animal Crossing or The Sims 3, rereading books I’ve already read (could Speaker for the Dead be any more awesome?), or hanging out with my boyfriend Jon (pictured at right), who drives himself crazy trying to program in C++ when he could write the same thing 10x faster in Python—that’s masochism for ya.
Entertainment
I guess you could describe me as a gamer. I own a PS3 and a Wii, and I play a few games on the PC as well. I enjoy turn-based games like the Paper Mario series; action-adventure games like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Okami, and Bayonetta; and simulation games like The Sims 3.
Music-wise, I use Pandora a lot to find new music in genres like electropop, synthpop, and trip-hop. My two favorite bands of the moment are Portishead and Röyksopp.
With respect to TV and movies, I like shows like House M.D. and Lost. Bleach was all right for a while until that horrible Bounto story arc. I like several of Hayao Miyazaki’s movies along with movies like The Matrix, 300, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Snatch.
About 3till7.net
3till7.net was purchased through Dreamhost.com on December 31, 2003 by my dad. The name came to me one evening at 6:57 PM when I checked the time; “three till seven” just sounded cool. I make 3till7 with WordPress, Komodo Edit, Vim, and GIMP. I test it in Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Opera. I have one hostee, my friend Melissa, at eleven.3till7.net. She keeps a blog about her daily life as a new mother.
About the Sugar Cane Theme | Use »
The Sugar Cane theme was originally designed by Able Parris based on the Thematic framework. I customized it a bit, mainly adding my own photo up top which is selected randomly; you can see more of my photos on Flickr. I really like the Sugar Cane theme because of its large amounts of blank space; it’s so roomy. It’s simple and frames my blog entries nicely.
About the Tetrad Theme | Use »
The color scheme came from Color Scheme Designer using a tetrad split to get four different colors. I used JQuery and a corner plugin for the rounded corners. Icon thanks go to Mark James (for envelope icon), Feed Icons (for RSS icon), and Juan Armstrong (for Twitter icon). This is a light theme using fonts Tahoma and Baskerville.
About the Block Pastel Theme | Use »
I worked with my Animal Crossing theme as a base. I wanted something with fewer graphics (especially transparent PNG’s!) but just as many colors. The Pepper Mint color scheme by Annie39 on Colour Lovers was inspiration for the base colors. This is a dark theme using the font Helvetica Neue.
