I got a haircut today:

Nothing fancy, I just got the ends trimmed, some layers cut in, bulk razored out of the back, and it’s angled slightly toward my face in the front. The stylist was friendly and gave me a 20% student discount which they apparently have every Monday-Thursday. Despite going to this stylist regularly for the past couple of years, I never knew this; learn something new every day.

I’ve recently started hearing Lady Gaga’s Alejandro on the radio and the first couple of times, I thought it was an old Ace of Base song I’d missed. Seriously, the backing music sounds a lot like an Ace of Base song. Even her voice, like when she sings “she’s just a baby”, sounds like Ace of Base. Anyone else get that impression? Edit: it’s not just me.

I had a requirements engineering test yesterday that went decently. It wasn’t as easy as the first one, which I aced, but I think I probably pulled a B out of this one. I need to write up some project statement for my usability class for tomorrow, which means I probably need to read through some of my sources to find which ones support my web design plans. My project will consist of overhauling the navigation and organization of the front page of a public transit system’s web site.

I saw a couple of crazies today while driving (well really, what day do I not see some crazy-ass drivers?). The first was when I was driving home from work. Some huge black SUV with dark tinted windows decided to pull out from a side street; cut across two lanes of oncoming traffic, including my own lane; and get into the far lane. Well, he apparently didn’t notice me driving along and made it fully into the lane next to me before slamming on his brakes as I slammed on mine. We ended up forming a right angle with the front of our cars. I honked the horn and drove on. The second bit of crazy driving I saw while coming back from the salon. I was in the furthest left lane that wasn’t a turn lane, and some lady was in front of me. We were stopped at a red light with traffic all around when she decided to drive forward into the intersection, then hastily turn right, cutting in front of all the cars beside us in the other lanes in our direction. She drove onto the intersecting street and hastily whipped into the gas station on the left, and I saw sparks fly up from under her car where she scraped the asphalt as she pulled into the parking lot.
