Haha, I’m glad you liked my comment. As far as the swirls go, they’re definately one of the touches that sets this apart from a normal blocky layout. They’re not overpowering or distracting or anything. I like them. (Not as much as popcorn. Which is good. I won’t try and eat your layout)

Mar: hee, thanks for all the compliments. :) I worried that adding the swirls would make the layout look cluttered, so I’m glad folks seem to like them.

Melissa! OMG, you did some of the most awesome designs! All your vector art skills left me in the dust. If you’re worried about taking your design and adapting it to a WordPress theme, I would just take someone else’s free theme that has the WordPress components laid out how you want (comments, dates, etc.) and stick in your CSS. If you’re not wanting to spend money on a domain/hosting, I’d be happy to put you up here. :)

Yeah, and now I do want to put one up again, damnit! I know I couldn’t pull off anything like this, though. It’s been so long since I actually created a wordpress theme. Believe me, though, I’m reeeeaaally considering getting back into this.

I love it! I love it so much that even though I was surfing the web awkwardly with my left hand and eating popcorn with my right… I put down the popcorn, wiped off my hand, and shifted how I was sitting… JUST so I could tell you how much I liked it.

And that might not sound like much, but trust me. I briefly considered just continuing on my merry way, but no. I needed to tell you. And I’m a pretty big popcorn fan.

But seriously. The color is awesome, and the organization of everything is cool and unique. Its hard to pull of blocky layouts without having them be ultra simple (and nice in that way), or just kinda boring. But this one definately does it. Just lovely.

It’s working now! Did you just add all the swirls? I didn’t notice them last night, but now I see them and love them. I like the little category (3till7.net, flickr, twitter) things on the left, too. I think this is one of my favorite themes so far.

Thanks. :) Dude, I don’t know if it’s changes to how WordPress or WPTheme does cookies, but I’ve had to manually remove 3till7 cookies from Firefox and Safari before when trying to change layouts. This layout is the default now, so if you remove all 3till7.net cookies from your browser, you should see this layout on all the pages.

I like it. For some reason, I can’t get it to load on the front page once I select it, though, but that’s probably just a problem with my browser.
