I just had to call Todd and tell him that I spent some of his money accidentally. Jessica and I have been singing the song “Hot Rod Lincoln” all day, so I went on Amazon to buy the MP3. I didn’t notice that I was logged in as Todd, who must have used Amazon last on my computer, so I went ahead and bought the MP3. I only noticed when it told me “Thank you for your purchase, Todd!”. Ha, that’s $0.99 on him!
LMAO oh dear! Oh well, at least I was only 99c and not something really expensive! :P
Does he have the one click ordering thing turned on? I have that turned off, and I know I have to re-enter my password to complete an order even if I am logged in already.
That’s actually kinda freaky – What if you clicked on something a LOT more expensive by accident?
Or by… “accident” :P
Ha, whilst reading I thought it would’ve been something that costed more than 99cents ;)
I’ve done that before, only I bought someone a lot more expensive. At least in your case it was only 99 cents!
Ha! I meant something*
Well, it could have been much worse! Quite funny though — imagine if a younger relative was playing on the PC and accidentally charged the card for something a lot more expensive (echoing the previous comments on this post!)? I wonder if there’s a “I would like to return the item/cancel my order because a kid accidentally ordered it as a prank” contact reason?
I must find a way to make my boyfriend stay logged in…
