Jem: she stopped for a while, which is why I fell out of the habit of checking her blog. I just did the other day on a lark and that's when I saw her big "I'm preggers!" update (though not in those words...).

I'm always amazed at your level of geekiness combined with your use of Windows. Those two are contradictory and, like, mutually exclusive in my mind. You're special, Jem! :D

Wow, I had no idea Melissa was still blogging - I could have sworn she said something about stopping - so I've not been to her site for ages. That's mad crazy news :D

Given my choice of OS, I think I should be offended by your 3rd paragraph :P

Believe me, I was freaking out at first, too. I've calmed down a lot now since then, though. It's just something I have to get used to. Abortion and adoption are no option for me because I would feel terrible later on about doing either one. It's really odd how opinions change when you're actually facing the situation.

I'm happy where I'm at now, though, and I'm more than happy with him. We ended up getting married yesterday and even though I don't feel any different than I did before, it's kind of neat to know that this guy is serious and that I can rely on him to be there when I need him.

I got a job yesterday, too! I probably couldn't have had a better day. Everything that seemed screwed up in my life finally came together and I feel so much more relieved.

I can also fly for free now so I can get my butt up to Lexington easier than ever. It's just a straight shot up from Memphis!

One of my friends just had a baby, adding herself to the group of about 10 girls I went to school with who are now moms. All of them between the ages of 19 and 21. *I* personally don't understand it, because *I* know that I can't take care of myself, let alone someone else. But, my friends are happy, and they love their little ones, and I am happy for them. :)

Have a great semester! :D
