Brent informed me at lunch today that Nine Inch Nails is giving away a new album entirely free (and legal) on their web site; it’s called The Slip. I’m about to download it now, and am so excited because I loved Year Zero. I thought it was a much better album than With Teeth, and even its remix album is awesome.
Also, my dad took some photos of a turtle that my brother found while mowing their field. It’s a heck of a turtle, as you’ll see if you scroll down to this photo of my mom holding it.

That’s a pretty awesome turtle! I have no idea what I’d do if I just suddenly stumbled across one randomly! o.O
I downloaded “The Slip” yesterday, and I’m very pleased with it =] NIN always comes through!
Its a red-eared slider. Scientific name= Trachemys scripta elegans. Native to the southern Mississippi drainage but now living throughout many parts of the world, thanks to the pet turtle industry which exports millions abroad. We even have them here in Vietnam!
When my brother randomly stumbled upon a turtle, he brought it home and gave it to me as a pet! He was so unhappy so I let him free, but these photos make me miss him (he a red-eared slider like this one)! PS, turtles are the jerkiest pets. Not cuddly at all.
