While in the shower last night, I was reading the shampoo bottles and, boy, they’ve got some interesting stuff in them. For example, would anyone care for a little methylchloroisothiazolinone? What about disodium ricinoleamido mea-sulfosuccinate? If there are any aspiring chemists reading this, I’d love for you to decipher what those ingredients are. To think, I massage that into my head on a daily basis, and you probably do something similar.
Edit: looks like Wikipedia is my friend: it has an entry on methyl-whozyface up there.
Well I suppose it’s supposed to protect your hair from yeast growing in it :D
disodium ricinoleamido mea-sulfosuccinate
is an inorganic salt. Not that that means anything, but it is. :P
I do look and then Google; I’m quite the obsessive. I also am one of those people that look up what prescription they’re on online so I can see what exactly is in them.
… better to be safe than sorry?
Brilliant. I just don’t think I wanted to know about the various chemicals I am absorbing into my body via my scalp! LMAO!
