writing a server

Yarrgh, I have been programming all day, since I got up at 10:30 this morning. I’ve been working on my networking assignment, which was to write a server in C++ that had minor support for cookies, ran on the given port, and could handle both HTML and images. I finally finished it but of course the online submission system didn’t work for me, so I emailed my tarball to my professor; hopefully he’ll acknowledge that he received it soon so I can relax. I’m so tired of sitting on my butt—hence why I’m standing to type this blog entry—but now I have to read in The Dark Side of Genius for another class tomorrow, and I figure I’ll sit down for that. I’m going to have myself some soup, as a breather from homework, then hit the reading. Sigh…
