I just beat Super Paper Mario again. I started it Tuesday night with my dad as an audience and I’ve played it for several hours a day since then; it’s nice having that kind of free time. I played much better this time around than the last time I beat the game, knowing what I was doing and who best to use for a given fight. I’m a big defensive player, so Peach with her impenetrable parasol is perfect for me, fight-wise. However, she’s not the best jumper because when she gets too high in the air her parasol kicks in; I prefer Mario and Luigi’s jump styles to hers. Bowser’s great when you just need to wail on some tough enemies, what with his jump and fire attacks that deal out twice the damage of all my other characters. I think the hardest fight in the game is the one with Peach and Mimi at the end, when Mimi “flings mud on Peach’s dignity”, as Peach put it. I had more trouble with that one fight than with all the other boss fights, including the very last one with Count Bleck and Dimentio. On a side note, I hope one of my readers has played this game and so at least someone isn’t completely bored reading this entry. :P
I guess with Super Paper Mario beaten again, that means I’ll have to put more effort into studying for the calculus test I have the week I return from Thanksgiving break. I’ve been studying each night since Tuesday, but of course I’m still worried about it. The week I return from break, I’ll have a lot of stuff to do, including a logic/theory of computing assignment due Thursday, the calculus test Wednesday, and as always the databases project, which is due in early December. I hate large projects that have definite due dates; they’re just a source of stress for me. I definitely work better when I can do things leisurely, and without pressure.
If you have an interest in funny YouTube videos, interesting links, and new quotes I discover, you might check out the Tumblr blog I started today. I went ahead and posted some videos that I’d put in the Junk Drawer here, but I’ll continue to update it with new things as I find neat stuff online.

Aww, have fun with all the work you need to get done!
It sucks when I have a huge project due all on one day. I’m really bad at time management, and so it inevitably becomes a last minute thing.
