That’s my theory, at least. Often when I’m around Mom, she’ll ask me if I feel hot, and I won’t be, and she’ll comment about how she’s “burning up.” Kathy often asks me the same thing. Mom dislikes wearing jeans because she finds them hot, and jeans are my daily wear, summer through winter, with no problem. I just read an email from Kathy that prompted me to come to the conclusion that 45-year-old women and older are just inherently too hot all the time, because Kathy insisted belts make her hot. How a strip of fabric no more than 2 inches wide worn around the waist increases your entire body’s temperature is beyond me, but it’s apparently like some sort of heat shield for over-the-hill women.
here i was, thinking i would be reading something about how sexy older women are. instead i get this?!
ok, for those who are blessedly cold: a leather belt isn’t fabric; it doesn’t breathe well; it holds in heat _where it’s at_ so it causes excessive sweating. all of which adds up to feeling hot.
you will be sorry some day!
Hm. That’s what my Grandma said when she was going through her menopause. :P
My mum says it now though and she isn’t even over 45! Do I have what you posted to look forward to?!
Are you sure? I really have to disagree. Or is it just Asian parents and their warm blood because my mum is always wearing heaps and heaps.
Um also, it was pretty hard to comment here because your comment box goes hidden in Firefox, or at least part of it. I’m typing blindly, hopefully no spelling errors. :P
Dude, why does Firefox do that! I don’t have any width:100% specified on textareas, and this particular textarea was set to only 40 columns but I just reduced it to 30.
Hell, I’m 23 and always hot! I wouldn’t even be able to wear jeans in the winter because they’re too heavy!
