homework and Nintendo games

And with the start of a new semester comes the usual necessity to do homework coupled with the great desire to avoid it. I read in my calculus book earlier, which I wasn’t too upset to do, though it came to my attention that I need to review a couple things: integration and differentiation of natural logs/e, and integration by parts. When I get back in Lexington, I’ll bring up my old textbook for Calculus I-III and read over those. When I started on my logic of computation homework, though, I just got bored of it. I look at a problem and think, ‘eh’, and have absolutely no interest in solving it. It doesn’t help that the homework is something my professor wrote up, and so it’s not as well worded as a regular textbook and is unclear because of it. I get frustrated very easily when a problem is unclear because of how it’s phrased. I’ll muscle through the rest of that homework later; it’s not due till Thursday.

I’m getting near the end of Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door and it saddens me. There aren’t any others in that series, other than Super Paper Mario which I didn’t like because the fights aren’t turn-based. Does anyone have suggestions for light-hearted games, like those in the Mario series, that have turn-based fighting? The next game I’m going to tackle is Super Smash Brothers Melee for the GameCube, which Todd’s going to let me borrow. It’s kind of funny that I went and bought a Wii (oh! by the way, I bought a Wii, haha) and so far all I’ve wanted to play are old N64 and GameCube games. I’m looking forward to the Smash Brothers that will be coming out this December for the Wii, though.
