Wow, no updates for a week, but that’s only because there’s been nothing to update about. I’m back at Lexmark for the summer, and so far I’ve been working with a Rails project I’ve worked on in the other times at Lexmark, and initially wrote during my first co-op there. I’ve also been trying to get a Django application working with Apache 2, which has been a bitch, I think mostly because I’m unfamiliar with it and Python, and it’s not as far along as Rails. Today, my boss gave us a half-day off on him–I worked 4 hours but got to put down 8 on my time card. He usually does that before holidays and it’s awesome. I ate at B.D.’s Mongolian Grill with some coworkers; it was my first time there and I thought it was all right, but my meal was pretty salty. I think the Mongolian Ginger sauce was a bit salty initially, then I didn’t think and put soy sauce on top, which is like liquid salt. Blech, I couldn’t finish all of mine, though I got the majority down.

This weekend I’m going to visit Jessica and her parents on their farm. I figure a good amount of sleeping will be involved because I’ve gotten so tired through this week, what with having to get up early. The girls and I are going to watch the third Pirates of the Caribbean tonight, and before that Todd, Jessica, and I are going to dinner. I’m not particularly looking forward to the movie because I thought the second one went downhill from the first. I wasn’t a big fan of the series initially anyway; I just thought they were okay movies.

About Jordin winning American Idol: eeehhh. She was okay. I personally thought she should have gone when Melinda did, and that it should be Melinda and Blake left with Melinda finally winning. I could see myself buying an album of Blake’s, but I thought Melinda was the best singer. Jess and I are now going to watch So You Think You Can Dance, the show that always makes me feel fat and ungraceful. Yay for self-esteem!

I think now I’m going to go play The Sims 2 since Jess and I designed a girl with her cat last night and I haven’t got her a job or anything. The bum!
