human statues

When leaving my apartment earlier to go hang out with Todd and the gang, I noticed a guy across the road spray painting his foot. Him and his friend were both silver from head to toe. They wore gray slacks and gray wife beaters, and their skin was painted in shiny, metallic silver. Of course I had to go ask why they were all silver: they were apparently going to go downtown and pose as statues for fun, and to get some tips. I was tickled that they let me take their photo:

Isn’t paint toxic?

I ended up going to the mall with Todd, Todd[1], and Chris in order to get Jessica’s birthday gift (happy 21st, dear!) and to wander around. Afterward, Todd and I got dinner (jambalaya for me, mmm) and we all watched Shaun of the Dead, which I hadn’t seen before but thoroughly enjoyed. I dunno though, I would say Hot Fuzz was better; I was laughing non-stop during it, pretty much.

  1. Oh my! That is quite possibly the best wasting of time I’ve ever seen. I sure hope they manage to get that spray paint off, though… that ain’t gonna be easy.
