Way too unstable. Any time I upgraded anything on my system, it went bonkers. So I've been Beryl-free for quite awhile now. It also had lamb, which made me nervous since I'd never had it. But I'd sure take your mom's recipe! That's how I found the easy guide I used. It did everything with a little GUI, restarted, and I was using the new version. Entering 'metacity --replace' in a term, though, as according to an Ubuntu Forum post I found (naturally--they're very helpful) fixed it. :) I don't use Beryl or anything, though, so keep that in mind.
