- Dreams
Note: This was a dream of mine. I have this warning here because some visitors have thought my life had just gone to pot, when really they were only reading one of my crazy dreams. :)
I was outside on a sunny day in a small, pretty neighborhood. A German man drove up in a truck and lifted out a stack of Insight magazines (which looked like Time with a different title). I was going to borrow them, and he wrote down my address so he could come pick them up when I was done. He had blond hair and looked like the main bad guy in The Man. I took the magazines, thanked him, and went back to my house, which was small and made of some dark material, either wood or brick. There were a lot of kids outside as well as people my age. They all wanted to meet me and talk with me. One little boy came up and told me he was Catholic. I told him all I knew about Catholicism was that they worshiped saints and the Mother Mary; he nodded. I asked if he would like a tour of my house, since my dad was a preacher and held a little church in the basement. He agreed and we went inside. It was very dark indoors and seemed like an old castle with lots of dark wood and tapestries. I explained how my dad would greet the churchgoers each Sunday morning by ushering them downstairs to the basement.
We went back outside and the little boy wandered off in the crowd of other kids in the yard. Todd kept trying to meet me but every time he did, I was already talking to someone else. I really wanted to meet him, too, but I was playing hard-to-get so I kept talking with others first. Finally, I went to talk to him but he had turned into a kitten I had as a child: Boots. Boots had long black hair with white on his feet. I petted him and picked him up but I was worried he was going to attack me, because he looked angry.
