New layout up! It being Friday, I had only one class today, so I spent a couple of hours of my free time making this new theme, Flower Boxes. Yeah, really uncreative title; I can’t ever think of pretty, artsy names for my themes. The blossoms overlaying the boxes in the header image were on a tree on campus back in April, 2006. There are several icons used that I got from BrandSpankingNew as well.

I made pork ribs tonight, to Todd’s delight. He told me we could just skip going out for ribs from now on, he liked them that well, which of course tickled me. I expected them to turn out well, even though I’ve never made ribs before, because that recipe has 160 reviews and it still has a 5/5 rating. I just need to find a type of rib that has more meat on it, and perhaps to boil them longer next time so they’re more tender.

Todd and the guys are going to see Smokin’ Aces tonight in theaters and, while I was invited, I don’t think I’ll go. I checked Google’s reviews of it earlier and the average is about 2/5 stars. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 26%, and I just don’t think it’ll be up my alley. When I tried to watch Crank with them a couple weeks ago, I got so bored with it that I left in 10 minutes; this one seems to be the same sort of movie.

Now I think I’ll work on getting Ruby Lovers rewritten with Rails and moved over to Mumble Ramble.
