Todd still isn’t over his borderline pneumonia and bronchitis combination, so we went back to the doctor yesterday. He was prescribed a shit-ton of medicine, including Sudafed, Mucinex, an inhaler, and a few prescription drugs whose names I can’t remember. He’s slowly regaining his senses of taste and smell, which is great because I know I’d go crazy if I couldn’t taste for as long as he hasn’t been able to. He’s been like this for several weeks now. When we were home for Christmas break, he was going to go to the doctor and then started feeling a bit better, so decided to try and “tough it out.” Silly men.

It’s finally starting to feel like winter. Temperatures hovered around 28° today with snow flurries and icy steps. I’m going to miss the 50° days we’d had for the majority of December and January.

I’ve got a little homework, including some historical research for my algorithms class. Dr. Jaromczyk was writing something from the textbook on the board today and it was on page 241. He paused and then told us to find something interesting that happened in England in 1241. “History is important,” he explained. Haha, random.

I made a very it’s-summertime-and-barbecue-season dinner for Todd and I earlier of hot dogs, baked beans, and Velveeta shells and cheese. We watched an episode of Boston Legal, season 2, before he went to class. What is up with Boston Legal, huh? They trashed half the characters only to replace them with cheap knockoffs! Lori, the token frigid blonde lawyer, was replaced by Denise, an equally grumpy and cold blonde lawyer. The stays-in-the-background, very minor Black Female Character was replaced by some other Black Female Character. Then Tara, a character I did like, leaves, along with Betty White’s character, who was awesome. Throw in some miscellaneous timid New Guy Character, and you’ve got yourself a whole new squad. Craziness.

I’ve since spent my evening doing dishes, sorting mail, and changing my address with various places online. Tonight, I’m going to watch Crank with the guys, which seems like it’ll be a lot like The Transporter. S’fine with me, since I liked that movie and Jason Statham is very pretty.
