Chinese food and boredom

The girls and I went out for movie + dinner night tonight, first hitting up Halloween Express to grab Halloweeny things. Ashlee initially wanted a witch’s hat and I cat ears, then we all wanted fairy wings upon seeing them, then we couldn’t find tiaras or antennae so we put back the wings, then I got a devil set including horns, tail, and a collar. The girls are going to continue looking around; I think we’re wearing our meager outfits while we do our fall/Halloween cooking this Saturday. So far, we’ve decided to make chilli, peanut butter balls, and some cookies. On a side note, why does everything mark ‘chilli’ as incorrectly spelled? It’s an alternate spelling of ‘chili,’ fer Chrissake! I grew up spelling it that way and I’ll be gosh darned if I change now.

I really don’t know what all I’ll be into this weekend, but hopefully something more exciting than what I’m doing right now. I was all excited after the girls and I finished at Halloween Express (which was followed by #1 China Buffet, yeah baby) because I planned on coming to Todd’s and watching Project Runway. Well, that comes on tonight and not last night, so it’s not yet recorded on the DVR. Shucks. There’s nothing on TV that I wanted to watch, so I’ve been fiddling online. Todd’s at Steve’s playing hockey (the Xbox variety, not the real-life variety) and the girls are at their respective homes. I need more friends that actually live here!

  1. One of my poor Livejournal friends accidentally saw a Project Runway spoiler on her homepage, which is a personalized Google, and she was really sad because she is a huge fan. I only watched the first episode, but I would be pretty upset if the end was spoiled for me.

I don’t know if you have already seen the last show, so I won’t spoil anything. But who was your pick to win? :P

  2. I actually just now finished watching the last show. :) I saw the audience vote right before the last segment of the show, and I was with them in favoring Michael, though I really liked Uli’s and Jeffrey’s, too. The only one that I didn’t really care for was Laura’s. I’m very happy about who the winner was.
