I’m halfway dozing on the couch with Todd’s Powerbook in my lap while he and the guys play Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfare. I made dinner tonight involving Uncle Ben’s long grain and wild rice, Mom’s green beans, and baked paprika-parmesan chicken. The chicken turned out all right, and Todd liked it, but he wouldn’t eat much of the rice or green beans because he’s a picky eater. I’ve got to get him over his aversion to spices and green beans.
The girls and I went shopping on Saturday and finished it off today at Old Navy. I’m very tickled with all I bought. I very rarely go clothes shopping anymore (I guess I’ve become a miser in my “old age,” haha), so it’s a great deal of fun when I do. The outfit I plan to wear tomorrow will be very cute, involving tweed-looking brown capris, a black shirt, and black flats.
Work went by really quickly today because I was very busy with image generation and database design (always with the database restructuring!). I was thinking initially I was going to have to stick with the old JP Graph in PHP for chart and graph generation, or write my own library in Ruby with GD2 as a backend, but then I found, by chance alone, Scruffy and Gruff Graphs. I chose to use Scruffy as it outputs very pretty graphs, involves clean syntax, and is, of course, in Ruby. I was so tickled to find it!
