my roomies aren’t druggies, I swear

I was hanging out with Todd[1], Todd, Brent, Kelly, and Eric last night at Todd[1]‘s house when the subject of Vicodin came up somehow, I think from a TV ad. Well, I piped in that oh, Ashlee and Jess had tried that at work, and I got a reaction from everyone. “What, are they depressed?” “No, they got a free sample and tried it,” – me. “Who gave them a free sample?!” “I hope drug stores aren’t giving that shit out.” “No, seriously, someone gave them a free sample or something,” – me again. “Yeah, a drug dealer.” Well, so I asked Ashlee today what that stuff was, and it turns out it’s Vivarin, not Vicodin, and instead of being a pain reliever it’s a caffeine pill. It’s also apparently available over-the-counter. However, the girls say it just made them feel drunk and giddy, but didn’t help them stay awake one bit.

  1. Cinnamonster is a junkie. You just don’t know it yet.

My mother and brother go through vivarin like it’s water. They always bitch and moan when they don’t have any “coffee.” :P

  2. I am not a junkie! Anyways, I think that Ash got that stuff from the student center or some other book store. It was in her bag from where she had bought something. We ended up trying it cause we were about to fall asleep at work; we figured it wouldn’t hurt to try it. However, it did not help matters much either.

  3. Oh it helped… it helped me to find everything in the freaking world hilarious! And I did get it from the student center. Gosh Sarah! and anyway… even if it was vicodin or whatever the hell it is… I would kindly like to tell you not to share my deep dark secrets with everyone on your blog! I’m totally crying now… and it’s your fault you psycho narcassistic be-yatch… Arg.

  4. Eek, my friend survived on caffeine pills during finals, freshman year. We were worried about her, but I guess it’s just like drinking a lot of coffee?

Whatevs, it’s the kids that use Ritalin on campus that I can’t stand. Ugh, get it together or reap the consequences – don’t turn to pills to help you out!
