music and gynecology

I have another fever blister, to my great annoyance, but the day is looking up because I received two packages today containing From Under the Cork Tree by Fall Out Boy, Chasing the Ghost by Collide, and 0304 by Jewel. My dorm’s t-shirts also came in so I picked up mine and Jessica’s. I’m done with tests for the rest of the week and my calculus test yesterday went okay, though I’m uncertain on whether I did the problems entirely correctly: I know I solved the integrals correctly because I checked them with my TI-89 (we were allowed calculators for once), but I don’t know if I was solving the right integrals. Heh.

Today’s Scott’s twenty-first birthday; happy birthday to him. I’ve got his gift sitting beside me (on top of my printer actually) so I’ll have to get it to him sometime today. The guys and him are going out tonight to celebrate, since Brent turned 21 a few days ago himself. Here’s hoping they use sense and don’t try driving anywhere after drinking. I told Scott to call me if he’s had even one beer and needs a ride.

I have a gynecologist appointment tomorrow. It’ll be my first time going but I’m not too nervous, even though Ashlee was telling me about how horrible it was for her. It just doesn’t sound like it’ll be that bad because there doesn’t seem to be any pain involved. Now if I had to get a shot… *shudder* Then I’d be queasy about it.

  1. I first went to the gyno YEARS ago. It wasn’t bad for me at all. To me, doctors are doctors…whether they’re poking around in your mouth or in your vagina, it’s all the same :D

  2. Calculators in Calculus? Why didn’t my teachers take a leaf out of whatever book yours were reading?

Good luck with the gynecologist. I always get quesy whenever I’m near a doctor. There’s a chance he’ll need to cut somthing=pain=very unhappy self
