My butt is numb and my back hurts, but I’m in a good mood because I’ve just gotten down an hour of work out of the four that I’m to do for Dr. Jaromczyk, as I recorded on my last time sheet, and I’ve finished a remake of his personal site. Besides designing sites, I spent my day reading, shoveling mulch onto both the green beans and out of the bed of the truck, and listening to the two CD’s Trin sent me.
My Google search bar is back! You know the search bar in the top right of Firefox? I had somehow gotten rid of that a long time ago and couldn’t get it back for the life of me. I finally just created a new profile, edited profiles.ini to make the new one the default, and copied over my bookmarks. Voila! My Google-Dictionary-Amazon-etc. search bar is back in action.
I also got Trebuchet MS and Georgia installed in Linux. Those are two fonts I’m sure everyone else with a computer takes for granted, but that I hadn’t had in my main OS until now. It’s nice to see lovely Georgia everywhere, instead of Times New Roman.
Mom’s lilies are all in bloom so I ran around snapping photos today like a wild woman. As soon as Dad gets them off the Casio, I’ll start uploading some.
Now, off to lounge on the couch and read more of Orson Card’s brilliant work.
Your redesign is quite the improvement over the current site. Egads. I love the blue color you used for his last name.
Thanks. :) I’m just glad to know that it’ll be valid code.
