home for a few days

It took from 8-10:20a yesterday for Lora and I to get all of my stuff loaded into my car. Never again will I bring so much crap with me. Gad, do I hate packing, but even more, I hate loading and unloading the stuff. I leave for UK again this Sunday and I’m hoping to take, tops, only two of my big blue Rubbermaid containers. I had four this last time, and that’s just too much with all the other stuff I have. I’m also considering not bringing my battery back-up, either, because it’s just so heavy and the power never goes out on campus.

Even though it took us so long to pack, I still made it home early. I never know what I want to do when I first get back here, so I usually end up wandering around and talking with my family. I helped Dad install a rollbar on the tractor yesterday, but by that I mean that I sat around and kept him company, occasionally getting coffee or tools for him.

My brother graduates from Western tomorrow. My parents and I aren’t going to the ceremony, but I don’t think this bothers him. I think originally he didn’t want to go either, but for some reason decided otherwise.

I just checked online to see if any of my grades were posted and so far, only my calc. recitation, Spanish, and Calc. II grades are up. A “pass” for recitation, an A for Spanish, and a B for calculus. I’m curious what I made on my final in calculus, so I emailed my professor about it. I’m still waiting on grades from econ., CS, and honors to be posted. I should definitely have an A in honors but I’m hovering between A’s and B’s in both CS and econ., so who knows there. I needed to make a 106/120 on the economics final to get an A, and I feel like I did well. In CS I had a 91% without my final, my program 5 grade, and some extra credit I had earned averaged in, and an A in that class starts at 92%, so it’s very iffy there, as well. All the grades should be up by Monday.
