lazy break beginning

I came home yesterday and so far I’ve mostly slept and otherwise relaxed. I did do some calculus today because I don’t want to forget any while I’m on break. I also started rereading The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, which I’ve wanted to reread for a while but I didn’t have it with me at school. It might be available in the Young Library on campus, but then again, Ender’s Game wasn’t there; I ended up having to have that shipped from home when I got the urge to read it.

My feet are currently vibrating because the floor is vibrating. My dad’s having to drill under the floor because the hole where the satellite cable comes in is too small for the new 4DTV cable to come through. It’s an interesting feeling; kind of tickles.

I watched a few episodes of Futurama yesterday with my dad and brother. I knew Dad liked the show but had no idea my brother would enjoy it. Fun stuff. Everyone watched The Others and Se7en last night, too. While only Mom really cared for The Others, everyone liked Se7en. Well, as much as one can really like that movie, due to its horrible ending (horrible because of what happens to the characters, not horrible because it’s a bad movie).

My brother’s grilling burgers and I have the lyrics from some song (possibly by the same name?) “wait a minute Mr. Postman” stuck in my head. I think I’ll go read more.
