moving in, textbooks

I’m all moved into my dorm although there are still random things that need to be put in their place that are currently lying around the room. Jess and I watched Troy last night at her house. It was decent.

I purchased my books today. The total was $237.10, which is about $60 less than last semester.

honors
$7.95 – Confessions – Saint Augustine, translated by Henry Chadwick
$2.20 – The Rule of Saint Benedict – Saint Benedict, edited by Timothy Fry
$17.00 – Three Treatises – Martin Luther
$7.40 – Oration on the Dignity of Man – Giovanni Pico della Mirandola
$14.95 – The Life of Antony and the Letter to Marcellinus – Athanasius
$10.50 – Early Christian Fathers – edited by Cyril Richardson
$8.60 – The Rise of Universities – Charles Haskins
$15.70 – Celsus on the True Doctrine: A Discourse Against the Christians – translated by R. Joseph Hoffmann

Economics
$65.80 – Microeconomics – David Colander

Spanish
$54.00 – Avanzando Gramátic española y lectura – Sara L. de la Vega
$33.00 – Cuaderno de ejercicios

Fortunately, I can use the same calculus book from last semester for Calc. II. My CS 115 book is what’s used for 215 but I sold it. I decided not to rebuy it as I’ve heard the guy doesn’t give assignments from the book. If he does on occasion, I’ll borrow Jessica’s, but I think I’ll be all right.

Tomorrow, the plan is to visit the lady in charge of the Women in Engineering program, do a run-through of my schedule to see what it’ll be like to walk from class to class, and make a trip to Wal-Mart.
