reading and movies

I just read the latest entry in Charlotte’s blog and this bit made me snort in laughter:
Today, I thought, ‘Hey, God obviously wanted me to have unreasonably large boobs, so I might as well show them off. For this is the work of the Lord, and it is good’.

I went to bed at some reasonable hour last night/this morning, I think it was 1 a.m. This was kind of early for me when I’m on vacation so I felt good about that, until I ended up staying awake for several more hours to read in bed. I ended up sleeping in until only 1 p.m. this afternoon instead of the 3 p.m. of two days previous, so I can’t have been that tired. Anyway, I wanted to finish Pet Sematary last night when I was reading it in bed but I thought it would be madness to stay up any later. Yay, I have good reading to look forward to. I’m down to only a couple of chapters. This is good since I’ve certainly drawn out the reading of this book for quite a while now. One week or two? Jeez.

I started watching Braveheart, a favorite movie of mine, earlier but got tired of sitting so I stopped it. I’m over half through though I don’t know if I’ll finish it today. I also want to watch The Shawshank Redemption (seen it) and Network (Dad wants me to see it) before I go back to UK. It feels like time is slipping away too quickly. I’m sort of looking forward to the new semester and it’ll be great to see my friends again, but at the same time I want my vacation to last longer.

I experimented some last night and today with creating some make-up for The Sims 2. The lipstick shades I made turned out decently but I couldn’t get the blush and eyeshadows to show up correctly in The Body Shop. Don’t know what’s up with that but I’ll try again later when I’m feeling up to it.

I’m craving some potato bread and a Coca-Cola so I think I’ll fetch those and then finish my book.
