I just finished watching Snatch, a Guy Ritchie film, which I borrowed earlier today from James. That was a great movie. It reminded me tremendously of The Sting which I need to see again. It also featured the song Angel by Massive Attack, a great song by a great band.
I wrote down some notes today for my honors paper which I hope to both begin and finish tomorrow. I finished my Spanish homework but that was simple enough as I only had four online exercises to do. I still need to read a couple of sections in my calculus book but I can do that tomorrow as well.
Talking with James earlier made me add several other books to my list of Books I Really Ought to Read Soon, such as On War by Karl Von Clausewitz (who was just recently mentioned in Shadow of the Hegemon, actually) and Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein. I pretty much want to read all of Heinlein’s books since my father is such a big fan of his work.
This is the usual for me: it seems like I always have a butt-ton of books that I feel I should read which is why I go through several at a time. Right now, in fact, I’m going to settle into bed with both Shadow of the Hegemon and The Origin of Species, along with a pencil for making notes and a Yoohoo.
Yo, ho!
Guy Ritchie? Dude. That’s Madonna’s husband. Yes, the Madonna. My idol.
