packet pocket jizzit crocket

I’m doing one of the things I do best: procrastinating. I have a test in Spanish tomorrow for which I’m going to study but I’m not going to study any until 10p which I fear will come much too early. At least I’ve studied a little before now so I’m not a complete slacker.

Because of the interesting posts that I’ve seen regarding it, I added my various sites to yoursite.nu earlier. So far I’ve been unimpressed because everyone seems to base their ‘reviews’ (mere sound bites) upon the layout. I’ve seen about two out of the thousands that mentioned content.

I think I did well on that CS 115 test last night but I won’t know for sure until next Tuesday, if then. Hopefully we’ll get our tests back by then, though.

Goddamn fire drills! I was preparing to get in the shower earlier when this horrible noise came from out in the hall. Luckily, we were only kept outdoors in the cold for about ten minutes.

I spent about two hours today hanging out with Jess and Tony after CS 100. Despite him repeatedly saying, “Linux sucks,” and dissing Rammstein, Tony’s a funny guy. I met him originally at GSP and have since spoken to him in CS 100, the most boring class ever. Today, I spent the entire time talking to Tony and cleaning out Jessica’s purse. When the three of us were getting ready to leave, some girl asked Tony and I, “Hey, can you do the talking somewhere else next time?” Whoops, I didn’t figure anyone actually paid attention in there. The grade for the entire class is based upon our scarce homework assignments(and I mean that in the loosest sense of the word: our last assignment was to use a search engine and list some of the results we got) and attendance. Basically, if we show up, we pass with flying colors.

Since I promised him I’d put it up here, Tony referred to a “packet pocket jizzit crocket” when we were discussing something about Linux. I can’t remember (and don’t think I ever knew what he was talking about to begin with) what it was in reference to, however.

I need to call my cousin tomorrow and see if I can come over to his house this weekend. Hopefully they’ll be home and I can; it’s usually quite dull on campus and I never seem to get anything accomplished.

There was one beast of a brown recluse spider crawling down my monitor earlier. I chased it for a while but never did get to smash the bastard. The last I saw of him, he was scuttling across the floor toward Lora’s side of the room. Yecch.

  1. I love your straight forwardness. I was also 17 when I started college. Kudos to you!! How dare your friend criticize Rammstein? haha. Best of luck in school! Dreams do come true!

  2. That boy needs some sense smacked into him! I want to know where anyone on Rammstein ever spoke of raping babies. Did one of the band members say it or is it in their lyrics? I’ve never heard it. I bet this is another huge misconception that stupid English-speakers have like the whole “you hate me” crap.

At least you weren’t IN the shower when that alarm went off!

  3. I’m here from yoursite, and I must say, I agree with that. I wrote my own little tidbit about it as well. ;D It’s like.. judging someone on how they look and not their personality. They look at the site, and leave. That’s it. Now I understand if you had something blantantly wrong with your layout, like you had bright blue background with pink text and your eyes burned, then that’s a different story. But.. yeah. I’m suffering the same mindless comments on my site as you are! :(

  4. They say Yoursite.Nu’s going to the dogs. Well, I suppose I agree.

    I don’t listen to Rammstein and I’m glad that I don’t. :D

I like spiders, so it’s good that you didn’t squash one. Haha! But I encourage you to kill all cockroaches you come across. They’re ickier.

For the record: Blah. Haven’t been in here in a long time. *hug* Missed the ramblings.
