I went over to UK this morning for the second day of the luau but all it was was check-out from the dorms for those who stayed on campus and free breakfast. I had an apple doughnut and then headed over to the Student Center to deposit two checks. However, it’s Sunday and the Center was closed; I’ll have to deposit those checks tomorrow. I did get my library book returned, though.

The luau was pretty much a waste of my time, as Steve had hinted at earlier this summer. But I did get an Honors Program t-shirt, which I’m wearing currently. They fed us Qdoba for dinner last night which was nice and I did get to see a ton of people from the Governor’s Scholars Program. Got to meet up with Katie after the festivities last night (we skipped the scavenger hunt because neither of us were interested) and we went to Joseph-Beth’s Book Store. I bought a Wiccan almanac that had some interesting articles in it.

Now I’m just hanging out here. I’ll head home tomorrow.
