unparalleled excitement

I just finished reading Hinge of Fate by Ramos, a Harry Potter fan fiction that I had read before and enjoyed. I’m fixing to draw some outfit for Psaces.

My subdomain, cark.3till7.net or 3till7.net/cark, isn’t up yet which is both annoying and strange. It should have been up within two hours and I created it last night. There better not be a big problem here. I hope it’s up soon. It’s for another hairbrained project idea Trin and I have had. We’ve been on a roll with bizarre projects recently.

I head back to UK tomorrow for the Honors Program luau. I need to pack some stuff tonight, though I’ll only be gone for four days. I have to deposit my first paycheck from the bioinformatics program in my new checking account up there as well as return a library book: The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.

The most physical thing I did today, other than take a few walks and ride my bike, was to trim around the house. Other than that, I read in Hinge of Fate. Boy, do I lead a life of unparalleled excitement and adventure.

I’m currently reading Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett. I’ve read it before and loved it then. I got onto a Pratchett kick after reading The Color of Magic so I just had to start another of his books.

Bugger, I need to charge my Zaurus. I’m not even sure where the power cable for that thing is. I’m a wreck! I just realized I haven’t developed the photos from the bioinformatics program and I have no idea where I put that camera. Cor, I hate losing/misplacing things. Looks like I’ll go on a mad rampage through my Rubbermaid containers (unpack? ha!) tonight in preparation for tomorrow. Not like I have a set time to be in Lexington, mind; that’s why I’m going up tomorrow, so I don’t have to be on campus at 8a on the 17th. Me making a three to four hour drive in the wee hours? Not bloody likely.

I did shoot the .22 rifle today some, though. Boredom and I enjoy shooting guns. *shrugs* I took pot shots at a busted bucket down in the orchard until I managed to make the bucket do a backflip into some poison ivy. I left it to the weeds and put the gun up.

God! No wonder “schlaim” never made any sense to me. Every time you typed that, I thought “schlaim” and was thinking “WTF is dat bytch talkin’ ’bout, yo?” Haha. This dictionary is becoming useful for me even.

Yeah, so this really has nothing to do with this journal entry of yours. N-E-WAYZ, have fun at that luau. I’m patiently waiting for WinSCP to finish its download so I can check out the carkiness.
