I just got back in from blackberry picking. I think I had the most in my bucket compared to my parents’, which is weird; usually Mom outstrips all of us.

Mom’s making her hamburger patty things tonight that I love. They’re hamburger with bits of bread in them and they’re covered in cream of mushroom soup. I’ll bet we’re having mashed potatoes, too. I missed home-cooked food while at UK. It was nice getting to eat out a lot but nothing is the same as my own mother’s food. I was seriously deprived of green beans, too. It was nice discovering Macaroni Grill and Corky’s.

You might have guessed by the topics of discussion that I’m starving. I haven’t eaten since I had four miniature Mounds bars at about 3p.
