I just returned from the trip to the Renaissance Fair. It was a blast. Hanging out with Chauntel and her mom is a lot of fun because they’re both so kooky and intelligent; we fit well together. Yesterday, I bought some clothes at Goodwill, including some really nifty PJ pants with images of lipsticks on them. Bought some sandals and a new bikini at Walmart yesterday, too. I really debated about buying the sandals (~$12) and bikini (~$14) because I just don’t want to spend much money. I don’t need the sandals, of course, but they’re really cool. The bikini I kind of sort of needed because it has boy-shorts bottoms and I’m getting sick of bikini-style bottoms on my swimsuits. Boy shorts are so much easier to deal with.
At the Renaissance Fair, I saw a magic show, toured a castle (that some guy actually lives in), ate a giant turkey leg, and just generally had a good time. I loved all the costumes of everyone. I was just kickin’ it in my shorts and Joe’s Crab Shack t-shirt. Bought two pentacle necklaces (a sterling silver for $10 and a pewter for $4), some cone incense and a cone incense burner, a set of windchimes for my mother (she loves them), and a little red woven bag. I think that’s it.
We ate at Fazoli’s on the way home. That was my first time there. Their food was all right; the breadsticks were nice.
Okay, so I need to clean my room, write a journal entry in here about the senior trip, send a graduation invitation to one of my mother’s friends to whom I just now learned the address, study for finals (particularly chemistry! it’s on Tuesday), review some sites for 6:57, update all the other sites/projects I manage, and read some more Hannibal/Clarice and general fan fiction for Hannibal.
You’re alive! I’ve been checking this blog more than once a day for updates :D
Going to a Renaissance Fair would be fun. I’ve never done it, but I’d like to. Getting all dressed up to go to something like that would be nifty.
