I had a good time shopping today. I bought everything I needed.
I’m currently gluing down some sequins and beads with Beacon Fabri-Tac on my prom dress in preparation for tomorrow. This glue is awesome. I got a small jar of it today from Chauntel’s mom, who was using it on Chauntel’s dress, which is also fully beaded. I finished hemming my dress earlier.
Here’s the plan for tomorrow: get up at 8:30a. Eat breakfast. Shower. Put curl-defining mousse in my wet hair. Drive over to Candice’s and be there by 10a. Get my hair done by Candice’s aunt. Put my make-up on. Drive with Candice and possibly Zack back to my house. Get my dress, shoes, and jewelery on. Have my father take photos of me, Candice, and Zack. Drive to O’Charley’s, where we’re eating. Drive to prom. Leave prom. Go to Candice’s house to roast marshmallows and wienies. Spend the night. Come home Sunday morning.
I bought my purse for prom today. It’s a shiny whitish color with silver rhinestones on it. $12 at Afterthoughts and it’s tiny. A damn ripoff, but I have to have a purse.
Mom bought my corsage today! It has fake white flowers on it and silver ribbon.
The Crystal City by Orson Scott Card arrived today! Hot dog, I cannot wait to begin reading it.
Praparation for dances like that is always fun. Although I never went to prom, I’ve been to enough similar dances. I hope you have a blast. You’ll have to upload pictures!
Have a good time, okay! I want to see pictures! :P For prom dinner, I took my regular purse in with me. Quite wacky, if you think about it. My purse is a black Dickie purse..heh. I think the material is canvas or something similar. Fancy and formal, don’t ya think? :D How did the hemming turn out?
