Princess Kitana

I’ve been outside moving parts of the frame of our old trampoline into the loft of the garage. Dad and I took it apart earlier. I managed to break my two longest nails. Isn’t that how it always goes with nails? Blast it all.

I’m about to roast up here. I’m all sweaty and covered with grime that consists of ancient rust and dirty water. When I tilted one of the pipes of the trampoline frame upward to put it in the loft as I stood on the ground, I dumped some really nasty goop on myself. I have got to have a shower soon.

I’ve discovered a new favorite character in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance: Kitana. My brother went through the game yesterday, getting enough Koins to purchase all of the characters. Li Mei, Sonya, and Kitana are my favorites. Nitara and Frost are all right, but they just don’t look as cool and I don’t like their moves as much. Is it just me, or does Nitara look kind of chunky? I’m really getting the hang of executing Kitana’s moves. Triangle, triangle, triangle with the Steel Fans is my most-used move (I’ve forgotten its name) along with a lot of kicks.

It’s been looking like it’s going to storm all day now, but I haven’t seen a drop of rain. My brother said it rained some earlier when he went out to mow the field but it stopped quickly.

I’ve been reading on Ender’s Game while waiting for Orson Scott Card’s other novel, The Crystal City, to arrive. I’m on pins and needles about that one. I can’t wait to read it!
